Health Officials Say Social Distancing Appears To Be Working

(Portland, OR)  --  Health officials say social distancing measures appear to be working in reducing the spread of coronavirus.  State Health Officer Dr. Dean Sidelinger says the current models show there will not be a dramatic rise in cases and that the state is successfully flattening the curve, but that will only continue to happen if residents follow the governor's stay-at-home order.  Sidelinger says the order will need to remain in place through at least the end of April to be effective.
