OR Putting Extra $60M Into Food Stamps For April, May

(Portland, OR)  --  The state of Oregon is putting out an extra 60-million dollars in food stamp benefits this month and next month to help families struggling through the pandemic.  The Department of Human Services says the additional SNAP benefits will go to recipients who are not already receiving the maximum amount of food stamp benefits.  The extra benefits should automatically show up on recipients' Oregon Trail cards.
