(Portland, OR)  --  A new emergency container drop-off site is now accepting bottle and can returns in northwest Portland.  The Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative opened the emergency drop-off site last week on Northwest Yeon Avenue.  Most stores in the state have stopped taking bottle and can returns due to the pandemic.  Many low-income residents rely on bottle and can returns to make ends meet.
