(Salem, OR) -- Governor Kate Brown says when the state starts to reopen from the coronavirus shutdown, it'll be important to not allow the disease to spread. She says there needs to be more testing to know who has the virus along with contact tracing to determine who might be infected. Brown says they need to keep the spread of the virus to a minimum. Hospitals need to have adequate supplies of personal protective equipment and there needs to be a system for quarantining and isolating people who get the virus. She plans to meet with health officials and business leaders across the state to look for ways they can safely reopen.
