Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast Back In OR After Counternarcotic Patrol

(Portland, OR)  --  The Oregon-based Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast is back home following a 65-day counternarcotic patrol in the eastern Pacific Ocean.  The Steadfast returned to Astoria late last week after seizing more than 12-hundred pounds of pure cocaine.  The crew intercepted a total of five suspected smuggling vessels and apprehended three suspects.
