(Portland, OR)  --  The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is teaming up with the Gresham Police Department to fight break-ins at businesses closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.  They're calling the effort the Businesses Premises Check Program.  KATU reports business owners can sign up for the program online to request that police keep an eye on their business.  Police say they've seen an uptick in burglaries at closed businesses since the pandemic began.
