(Portland, OR) -- Executives at Portland State University are having their pay cut as the school deals with a budget shortfall caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Interim President Stephen Percy's salary has been cut 15-percent for the next six months. Other senior executives, including vice presidents, general counsel, deans, vice provosts, and the athletics director, will take reductions of either ten-percent or seven-and-a-half-percent, depending on individual salaries. Percy hopes the cuts show the resolve the school has toward long-term planning and effects on the budget.
