(Portland, OR)  --  One man is hospitalized and another is behind bars following a brutal assault.  Police say they found the victim lying on the sidewalk at 4th and Taylor yesterday bleeding badly from the head and face.  Witnesses alerted officers to the suspect across the street.  They say 25-year-old Christopher Pfegl punched the victim several times, shoved him onto the cement and then stomped the man's head with his boot.  The victim has serious but non-life threatening injuries.
