Oregon Employment Department Adds Self-Employed Workers

(Salem, OR)  --  The Oregon Employment Department has started taking applications for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program.  The funding comes from the CARES Act.  It covers people who are self-employed, contractors, agricultural workers and people who didn't make enough to qualify for regular unemployment benefits.  To apply, go to the Oregon Employment Department website and go to the CARES ACT section.
