Vancouver Man Shot By Police

(Vancouver, WA)  --  An investigation is ongoing into the officer-involved shooting of a man in Vancouver.  It happened yesterday morning after officers responded to Fourth Plain Boulevard and Stapleton on a report of two men fighting.  When officers arrived, they found one man on the ground and another man armed with sharp objects.  A witness says officers tried to use a taser on the suspect, but he was wearing a leather coat and it had no effect.  Police say three officers opened fire on the man after he refused to drop the weapons.  No word yet on the man's condition.  None of the officers was hurt.
