Inmate Population Reduced In Response To Pandemic

(Portland, OR) --  The inmate population at county jails throughout the state is down fifty-percent due to the pandemic. This is according to a report released by the civil rights advocacy group, Disability Rights Oregon. The report found that county jails in the state reduced inmate population due to health concerns posed by COVID-19.
