Protesters Hold Re-Open Oregon Rally

(Salem, OR)  --  The extension of Oregon's stay at home order due to the pandemic is drawing civil unrest. About one-thousand protesters demonstrated outside of the state Capitol on Saturday for a "Re-open Oregon" rally. This comes after Governor Kate Brown signed an executive order extending the state of emergency until July sixth. The new executive order gives the Governor authority to maintain orders she's issued, including the stay at home order.  As of Sunday, there have been no new deaths related to COVID-19 according to the Oregon Health Authority.
