(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland Public Schools Board plans to vote tonight on a measure to ratify teacher furloughs. The plan calls for reducing teachers to a four-day work week for the rest of the school year in an effort to save money during the pandemic. If approved, the furloughs will reduce teachers' pay by twenty percent.
