Catholic Churches Reopen In Time For Mother's Day

(Portland, OR)  --  Catholic churches across Portland reopened yesterday for Mother's Day Sunday Mass.  The Archdiocese of Portland announced late last week churches would be allowed to reopen with a few new restrictions.  Those restrictions include no distribution of wine during Communion, no taking of collections and no sign of the peace.  Churches were also encouraged to shorten their Mass and limit the number of worshippers allowed inside.
