(Portland, OR) -- Just over 27-thousand Oregon households will get 2020 Census invitations and questionnaires dropped at their doors this week. The U.S. Census Bureau says most of these drop offs are for households that do not receive mail at their physical address. No one will contact you, and Census Bureau field staff will follow social distancing and wear official government provided personal protective equipment when doing drop offs. Nationally, five-million households will get Census materials dropped off at their residence.
