(Salem, OR)  --  The Oregon Employment Department received 14-thousand new unemployment claims over the last week, bringing the total since March 15th to 396-thousand.  Tens of thousands of claims still haven't been processed, because they're more complex.  The Employment Department has nearly 700 people working in a call center seven days a week to contact those people and complete the claims.
