(Portland, OR) -- Voters appear to be approving a measure funding homeless services. Early ballot counts show Metro's Measure 26-210 passing with about 57-percent of the vote. The measure would enact a one-percent tax on large businesses and high-income residents to raise 250-million dollars a year for homeless services. The tax would apply to individuals making over 125-thousand dollars a year and families with a household income of more than 200-thousand dollars a year.
