(Portland, OR)  --  A man is facing a decade behind bars after attacking two women in Portland's Pearl District.  The Multnomah County District Attorney's Office says 37-year-old Jason Ray Stewart has been sentenced to ten years in prison for the assaults in January of 2019.  Police say he followed a woman into her apartment on Northwest 14th Avenue and dragged her down the hallway.  He fled the scene after another resident stepped out of his apartment with a baseball bat.  Police say he also grabbed another woman entering the apartment building by her face and neck.  Stewart pleaded guilty to second-degree kidnapping, burglary and coercion.
