Portland Mayoral Race Could Be Headed For Runoff Election

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland's mayoral race appears to be headed for a runoff election.  New numbers released last night show incumbent Mayor Ted Wheeler leading with just under 50-percent of the vote.  Candidates in city primary elections must get at least 50-percent of the vote plus one in order to prevent a runoff election.  Wheeler's closest challenger Sarah Iannarone has just 24-percent of the vote.
