(Salem, OR) -- An Oregon State Prison inmate who had COVID-19 has died. The Oregon Department of Corrections says the man was between 50 and 60 years old. He was in a hospital when he died. A total of 38 Department of Corrections employees have tested positive for COVID-19 along with 148 inmates. Prisons are conducting extra cleanings and inmates are making masks at three facilities. All inmates have been offered two masks and employees have been offered one mask.
