(Portland, OR)  --  The hot weather will send people to popular swimming areas to cool off this weekend.  However, AMR wants people to know they won't have lifeguards at High Rocks Park in Gladstone and Glenn Otto Park in Troutdale.  AMR says their lifeguards haven't been able to train and be certified, because the pools are closed.  There's also no way of protecting lifeguards from COVID-19 if they have to rescue an individual who is infected.  They are urging all swimmers to wear life jackets.
