Thousands Protest For Eighth Night In Portland

(Portland, OR)  --  Thousands of people demonstrated in downtown Portland again last night for an eighth straight day of protests against police brutality and racial injustice following the police-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.  Protesters gathered outside Revolution Hall yesterday evening and then marched across Morrison Bridge to Naito Parkway and then into Waterfront Park for a peaceful rally.  Hundreds of the protesters then marched to the Portland Justice Center, where police say there were some incidents of people throwing things at officers and trying to climb the fence.
