Nike Donating Millions To Support Black Community

(Beaverton, OR)  --  Beaverton-based Nike is donating millions of dollars to help support the black community.  Nike says it will donate 40-million-dollars over the next four years.  Under the company umbrella, the Jordan and Converse brands will also be part of the initiative.  The funds will support organizations that focus on social justice, education and racial inequality.  In light of George Floyd's death, president and CEO John Donahoe says we must understand the "suffering and senseless tragedy racial bigotry creates."  Nike added it has recently increased efforts of accountability within the company.
