Thousands Of Protesters March On I-84

(Portland, OR)  --  Protesters in Portland continue to call for change following the police-caused death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.  Thousands of protesters took to Interstate 84 last night, marching from the Irving Street onramp to the Northwest 33rd Avenue exit.  From there, protesters continued their march in the Alberta district before returning to their starting point Revolution Hall.  A smaller group of demonstrators gathered at the Justice Center to protest.  George Floyd was a black man who was killed after a white police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes, cutting off his air supply, in Minneapolis two weeks ago.
