(Coos Bay, OR)  --  An 18-year-old man is hospitalized after falling from a cliff while hiking at Cape Arago near Coos Bay.  The U.S. Coast Guard says the man was hiking with his mother yesterday morning when they both fell from the cliff.  The mother was reportedly able to grab onto some vegetation to stop her fall and was not injured.  However, her son fell 36 feet down the cliff face and suffered multiple head injuries.  The Coast Guard deployed a rescue swimmer to help hoist the man into a rescue litter, and he was airlifted to a hospital.
