(Portland, OR) -- A Portland Tribune reporter is calling for change after being shoved by a police officer after identifying himself as a journalist during a protest against police brutality downtown. Zane Sparling tells KATU he was covering Saturday night's protest when an officer confronted him. Sparling can be heard on video telling the officer he's a reporter, prompting the officer to say he doesn't care and then shove Sparling against a wall. Sparling says he hopes the Portland Police Bureau can work on changing the way they treat journalists.
