(Portland, OR)  --  A group of state lawmakers are calling for the release of prisoners who are at a higher risk for complications from COVID-19.  Leaders of the House and Senate Judiciary committees released a plan yesterday calling for the immediate release of such inmates.  The plan also calls for the release of inmates who are just a few months shy of finishing their sentences.
