(Hillsboro, OR)  --  Protesters in Washington County gathered at the Courthouse yesterday calling for police reform after a deputy violently attacked a man while booking him into jail two years ago.  Deputy Rian Alden was recently charged with misconduct for the assault, which left Albert Molina with a permanent brain injury.  Alden was caught on surveillance camera charging at Molina and slamming his head against a wall.  Protesters are calling on the Washington County Commission to defund law enforcement and redirect the money to marginalized communities.
