(Portland, OR)  --  An Oregon activist group is praising the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling that rejects President Trump's attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA.  The Home is Here Oregon Coalition says ten-thousand DACA recipients live in Oregon.  Yesterday's five-to-four ruling allows 700-thousand Dreamers to remain in the U.S.  The Supreme Court ruled that the White House did not follow proper procedures in trying to end the Obama Administration program that allows people who were brought to this country illegally when they were children legal status.
