Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Sued For Using Knee-Restraint On Child

(Portland, OR)  --  The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is facing a lawsuit after one of its deputies allegedly knelt on the neck of a 12-year-old African American boy.  Lawyers for Ka'Mar Benbo say the boy was a witness to a fight between two girls at Clackamas Town Center back in August.  As he and his friends were leaving the mall, deputies responding to the call about the fight ordered the group to stay and then pinned the boy to the ground.  The attorney claims that one deputy kept a knee on the boy's neck long after he was handcuffed.
