(Portland, OR)  --  Sentencing is scheduled today for MAX stabbing convict Jeremy Christian.  Christian was convicted earlier this year of stabbing Taliesin Namkai-Meche and Ricky Best to death and injuring Micah Fletcher on a MAX train in 2017 after they stood up for two Muslim women whom Christian was verbally assaulting.  Sentencing was originally scheduled for June 18th, but court officials delayed the hearing due to complications posed by the coronavirus pandemic.
