Governor Brown Extends Coronavirus Emergency

(Portland, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is extending Oregon's state of emergency over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.  Brown announced yesterday she is extending the declaration for another 60 days.  Brown also extended the state's residential and commercial eviction bans, saying people won't be kicked out until October.  Renters will be allowed to repay back rent through March 31st of next year.  Landlords also can not charge late fees.
