OR Has Record-Breaking Single-Day Spike In COVID-19 Cases

(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon health officials are confirming a record-breaking single-day spike in coronavirus cases.  The Oregon Health Authority reported 281 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, marking the largest one-day jump since the pandemic began.  The new cases raise Oregon's total number of cases so far to eight-thousand-931.  Officials say 75-percent of the state's most recent cases involve patients under the age of 50.
