(Portland, OR)  --  An Oregon soldier is dead following a non-combat-related incident overseas.  The Pentagon says Private first class Alexander Klass was killed on Independence Day in Kosovo.  The Defense Department didn't release any other details about his death other than that it is under investigation.  The 20-year-old was from Willamina, Oregon and a member of the Oregon National Guard.
