(Portland, OR)  --  The Multnomah County Library system is announcing layoffs due to the coronavirus pandemic.  The director of libraries emailed employees on Tuesday to inform them of the impending layoffs.  The director says they'll be losing talented and committed staff members as well as innovative thinkers due budget problems because of the pandemic.  It's not yet clear how many people will be laid off.
