Salon Owner Speaks Out About Racial Harassment

(Eugene, OR)  --  A local salon owner is speaking out after being subjected to multiple instances of racist harassment.  Betty Snowden of "Glamour Girls and Guys Hair Studio" in Eugene tells KVAL a group of people gathered outside her shop on Monday and yelled racial slurs while banging on the bars she had installed for security.  Snowden says the same group has previously broken their windows, painted the n-word on their door and even placed fecal matter outside the shop.  The Eugene Police Department says it is investigating.  Snowden says she doesn't want to press charges, but she's speaking out in order to raise awareness of racism in the community.
