(Portland, OR)  --  Stricter new measures aimed at fighting the spread of coronavirus take effect today.  All indoor social gatherings of ten people or more will be prohibited.  Residents will also be required to wear face coverings outdoors in areas where they cannot stay six feet apart from others.  Governor Kate Brown announced the new mandates earlier this week in response to recent surges in COVID-19 cases.
