Thousands Flock To Portland Protests, Including Two Parent Groups

(Portland, OR)  --  Thousands of protesters took to the streets of downtown Portland last night to join the ongoing demonstrations against police brutality and systemic racism.  The Oregonian reports local parent groups Wall of Moms and PDX-Dad-Pod joined in last night's demonstrations in droves.  The groups held a march from the riverfront to the Justice Center, where hundreds of protesters were already gathered.  Later, federal officers deployed tear gas and projectiles after hundreds of protesters packed into the entrance of the federal courthouse just after midnight.
