(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon health officials are confirming eight new coronavirus deaths as well as more than 300 new cases of the virus.  The Oregon Health Authority reported the eight new fatalities yesterday, raising the state's death toll to 311.  The agency also reported 304 new cases.  Oregon has now had a total of 17-thousand-721 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began.
