(Portland, OR)  --  Portland is resuming homeless camp sweeps after pausing the practice in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.  KATU reports city contractors have begun clearing out a homeless campsite on the Peninsula Crossing Trail in north Portland.  City officials say some campsites will be allowed to remain so long as residents adhere to state health rules regarding the coronavirus pandemic.  Those rules include keeping tents six feet apart.
