(Cannon Beach, OR)  --  A motorcyclist is dead following a crash on Highway 101 about two miles south of Cannon Beach.  The crash happened yesterday morning.  Oregon State Police say 70-year-old Van Nordquist was driving his Harley Davidson southbound when he lost control in a curve and crashed into a semi.  Nordquist died at the scene.  The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.
