(Corvallis, OR)  --  A 57-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly strangling a woman to death inside a Corvallis hotel room.  Police have arrested George Spencer for the death of 41-year-old Gina Vargas yesterday.  Spencer allegedly told police he had been using methamphetamine when he became paranoid and began choking Vargas until she lost consciousness.
