Court Appearance Postponed For Downtown Assault Suspect

(Portland, OR)  --  Bail is set at 260-million dollars for a man accused of assaulting another man during a protest in downtown Portland.  A judge set bail for Marquise Love yesterday after agreeing to postpone his arraignment until September 2nd.  A viral video of the assault on August 16th allegedly shows Love and several other people kicking and punching a man until he falls unconscious.  Court documents show Love told police he's received death threats since being named a suspect in the case.
