(Portland, OR)  --  The Red Cross Cascades Region is sending ten volunteers to California to help victims of the wildfires.  The volunteers will spend two weeks helping to run shelters and locate hotel rooms for evacuees.  Another ten volunteers will remain in Oregon working virtually from home.  They'll help with shelter operations and provide crisis counselling for evacuees.
