(Portland, OR) -- OSHU is calling off its COVID-19 study. Ten-thousand people volunteered from across the state to study the spread of the virus with the goal of helping local leaders better track, test and map the behavior of the virus. However, the university says it failed to take into account the impact on black, indigenous and people of color. They say the results of the study wouldn't be representative of the state's population, which is why it was canceled.
