(Portland, OR)  --  The city of Portland is in a state of emergency due to extreme wildfire conditions.  Mayor Ted Wheeler issued a City of Portland Fire Emergency Order yesterday.  The emergency declaration allows the city to identify financial resources to be used to protect public safety, health and welfare.  The declaration will remain in effect until September 24th.
