Half-Million People Forced To Evacuate Homes Due To Wildfires

(Portland, OR)  --  Half a million people have fled their homes in Oregon as wildfires continue to ravage the state.  The Oregon Office of Emergency Management said yesterday that number is expected to continue growing in the coming days.  Nearly one-million acres of land are currently burning in the state.  That's about double the amount of land that usually burns in an entire year in Oregon.  So far, three people have been killed.
