Governor Brown Says Fires Result Of Perfect Storm

(Portland, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown says the fires devastating Oregon are the result of a perfect storm.  On CBS' Face The Nation, Brown cited factors including big time winds in addition to a landscape that had been dealing with decades of drought.  Brown said around 500-thousand acres of land have been burned each year for the last decade in Oregon.  Now, she says that number has doubled.  Brown said the fires should wake us all up to the reality of climate change.
