(Portland, OR)  --  The Oregon Health Authority has started a statewide COVID-19 wastewater monitoring project to detect COVID-19 in more than 40 small to medium communities around the state.  The program will continue for more than two years.  Health officials say it will provide them with an early warning system for outbreaks of COVID-19.
