(Detroit, OR)  --  Fire officials say the Beachie Creek Fire in the Santiam Canyon has now destroyed nearly 13-hundred structures, including 470 homes.  The blaze is 20-percent contained and has burned 190-thousand acres.  Evacuation levels for portions of Mehama and Lyons in the Santiam River Canyon have been reduced from Level 3 to Level 2.  Level 3 evacuations remain in place on North Fork Road north of Highway 22 and from Highway 22 east of Highway 226.
